DÜSSELDORF STUDENTS EVALUATE THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN LECTURES

In lectures at colleges and universities, there is now an even greater need for improvement in the use of innovative presentation techniques. This is the conclusion of a project study in the Industrial Engineering degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. Eight students interviewed fellow students and lecturers extensively on the use of modern presentation techniques in lectures. The project was supported by NEC Display Solutions. The company supports a variety of research and education projects in order to allow evaluation of innovative teaching methods.

Replacing typed A3 boards, diners visiting The Place to Eat restaurant, the Brasserie, the Bistro and the Coffee Shop now make their selection from 25 x 23” EX231W and two x 46” P461 NEC screens positioned alongside each serving section. The signage on these screens, powered by DMP’s digital signage solution can be created, amended and deployed from anywhere with an internet connection using their unique web-based Creator and Content Management System (CMS).
